Procedure / Action Plan

To develop friendship among yourselves. This is a 3-point plan to improve friendship. The first is to form a 5-member committee, survey the membership and implement changes based on the survey results and common sense. It is the most important point. The other points are to increase inclusion activities and to do a good job on all current

activities.

IMPROVE FRIENDSHIP VIA A COMMITTEE, MEMBERSHIP SURVERY AND ACTION

1. Create a Committee (5 persons preferred)

a.Who is the Committee Chairperson (Name, Cell phone)

2. Survey your membership (Google survey, Surveymonkey, etc.)

3. Analyze the data

4. Create an Action Plan based on the data and common sense

This is the most important step in creating friendships.  The Committee should understand what the membership wants based on its survey.  Using common sense and the data offer new or improved programs to the membership.  The Committee can also learn from other Synagogues.  Each synagogue can follow the process and decide what they think should be done.  Four or five members of the Committee, based on a vote, can determine if they are doing the best job possible and should defend why.  Determine if the membership feels that progress is being made.
