Transitioning from Universe One to Universe Two

In Universe One, we live in the “real world”, and countries’ size, military strength and power determines “reality” and Israel responds to it. In Universe Two, God determines reality, and it is independent of a country’s size, military strength and power. This is best highlighted in Genesis 14:1-24, where Abraham and 318 men and two confederates defeat four northern kingdoms at night, who were very powerful and had already defeated 11 other kingdoms in Canaan. Abraham recognized that God plotted their defeat.

All of our current actions are based on Universe One. How can we get to Universe Two, and how should we deal with other countries?

We are told to believe in God, but our actions show that we don’t believe in him sufficiently for him to decisively help us. God created the Universe, man, life and the laws of nature. In addition, he can interfere with the laws of nature—killing the firstborn Egyptians, drowning the Egyptians at the Sea of Reeds, and giving a son to Abraham (100 years old) and Sarah who was 90 years old and in menopause. God appreciated what Abraham did for the three strangers, and he promised him and Sarah the greatest reward, a son, and God broke the laws of nature to give the son to them. But why did God have to break the laws of nature? Couldn’t he have given the son to them earlier. Perhaps the message is to us. I, God, will break the laws of nature for you too if you behave like Abraham. This website is designed to help us improve our behavior, now and into the future. See our final comments which show how unique we are.

In terms of other countries, we should respect them. We should always recognize and applaud their good actions. We shouldn’t count on miracles. Nevertheless, if we behave appropriately, we will still receive miracles, and our attitude will change. Then, we will more fully appreciate God and count on him.
